Postscript.

This despatch was drafted nearly a month ago and

paragraph 2 now calls for modification, though the conclusion

in paragraph 3 and the inquiry in paragraph 7 are unaffected.

Movement is now so slight as to be unimportant and

following on being strengthened interiorly by perpendicular

shores the bedrooms on the northside are being repaired with

a view to re-occupation.
